Updated Service Timeline

To support current patient needs and service demand, the following changes will take effect:

• Overnight inpatient services will cease at the close of business Wednesday, 27 May 2026
• A day program will operate on Thursday, 28 May 2026
• Limited outpatient and hydrotherapy services will continue on Friday, 29 May 2026

Friday, 29 May 2026 will be the final day of any hospital‑operated clinical services at Mackay Private Hospital.

Information for Our Patients

Your safety, care and wellbeing remain our highest priority.

We understand this may feel like an uncertain time, and we want to reassure you that:

• Patients currently receiving care will continue to be supported through their treatment and discharge planning
• Our team will work closely with your treating doctor to ensure continuity of care
• Where ongoing care is required, plans will be put in place well in advance to ensure a smooth transition to appropriate services

No patient will be left without a plan.

If you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to speak with your treating team. Our staff are here to support you, and arrangements can be made for further discussions with hospital leadership if needed.
