After admission
The multidisciplinary rehabilitation team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, OTs and Allied Health Assistants, will work with you to develop goals that will help you return to the life that you are wanting to lead. Being a part of the rehabilitation ward requires you to participate in a minimum of 2 sessions a day of up to an hour with members of the allied health team. This can be a mix of one on one therapy or in a group setting. Nursing staff will work with you to get you up, showered and dressed ready to start therapy by 9.00am. The multidisciplinary team meet together every week and discuss your goals and progress to ensure that you are being helped toward your goals and to plan the next stage of your rehabilitation journey, including discharge planning
