Program content

This is a revolutionary exercise program for people newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Traditionally, this population has been overlooked by allied health services, often until it is too late to make significant changes.

Recent evidence shows very clearly that not only is early intervention very effective in improving quality of life, mobility and confidence, it has the potential to slow progression of the condition and improve functional mobility.

The program encourages participants to focus on challenging the mind and body to improve movement and delay the onset of the severe symptoms of the disease. It works by tapping into the brain’s ability to retrai n itself by driving neuroplastic change.
